3rd Agriculture College in Orissa -

The College of Agriculture, Bhawanipatna will be under the Orissa University of Agriculture Technology (OUAT). The CM asked Dr. Arabinda Padhee, <CAC 1986-1990 Batch>, Director Agriculture to take up the matter with VC OUAT for facilitating the students to enroll them in 2009-10. Dr.Padhee gave out details on the planning process on establishing the new institution. Funds will be located from Special Problem Fund (SPF) for both these institutions. Both the colleges were provided Rs.5 crore each to take up preliminary works.

 Alumni Meet 2008

 The  3rd Annual Get together and alumni meet 2008 is held on 14th December 2008 at RPRC Bhuaneswar. Some sweet memories are captured and posted at <cacalumni on youtube>.

It has also been decided that the  4th Alumni Meet of CAC will be held on 13th December 2009 at RPRC Bhubaneswar.

The College of Agriculture (O.U.A.T.), Chiplima, Sambalpur  - 768025 ,established on 20th October 1981.23 batches of Agriculture Graduates has completed there study and are serving at various organizations round the globe. Many students have also established their own enterprises on diverse fields from agriculture to IT. We found an alumnus from our college in any sector we come across. The hardship our students have faced in the campus has strengthened them to fight for right under any situation.

Hi All,

An unusual incident occurred at Hammond last week.  We were hit by a tumultuous snow storm with over 9 inches accumulation on the ground.  Never before in the history of this state had such an event occurred.  The local infrastructure took a severe hit with schools and vital installations shutting down.  A state of emergency was declared in Tangipahoa County (name for local district).  It was indeed a welcome respite for some, who had not seen this spectacle in their lifetime.  Probably our fragile planet and ecosystem could be changing for the worse?  Click on the link below to see how our campus last week!!!
